Description

string oci_statement_type ( resource statement)

oci_statement_type() returns the query type of statement statement as one of the following values:

SELECT
UPDATE
DELETE
INSERT
CREATE
DROP
ALTER
BEGIN
DECLARE
UNKNOWN

Parameter statement is a valid OCI statement identifier, returned from oci_parse().
